Works as advertised. This food processor has a powerful motor. The various cutting blades perform well. Makes cookie or bread dough as well as pizza dough, pie crusts ,salad dressings and chopped and pureed vegetables and more. Everything comes apart simply and is a breeze to clean. Noise is at a minimum and it does not shake.
The Kitchenaid food processor has a solid feel, the base is weighted nicely and the components fit together very well.
The lid is made from a thick, clear plaster and has a generously sized feed tube. The bowl fits very well and locks in place securely If too many liquid items are put into the food processor at once, a little may seep out. The lid and bowl need to be locked down securely. The blade inserts are very sharp and need to be handled with caution. The mini bowl is a great add-on item to this already fantastic machine.
This delightful and highly functional kitchen tool is sure to please the most demanding chef in each of us. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it.
